It is also used as moulding agent in foodstuff industry and as base raw material of ointment in pharmaceutical industry. Constituent：
lanolin with very complex ingredient comprises 90% high-grade ceryl alcohol ester & high-grade fatty acid ester, 4~5% free ceryl alcohol, 1% free acid and less than 1% carbohydrate. Of the ingredient, the main ester is not the simple ester substance but the compound esters composed in many formats by cholesterol, lanosterol, cerotic acid, palmitic acid & lignoceric acid, etc.
