Product details
Conventional liquid coil coatings were successfully developed and applied in the late 1950s and early 1960s. To date, almost all pre-coated coiled steel sheets are coated with liquid coil coatings. However, traditional liquid coil coatings contain organic solvents (VOCs) that are harmful to the environment. Powder coatings do not contain any organic solvents and are a powdered substance with the advantage of zero VOC emissions. They are one of the best choices to replace traditional liquid coil coatings.
The main technical bottlenecks of coil powder coatings are rapid coating and rapid curing. The former involves coating equipment and processes, while the latter involves the formulation and curing method of powder coatings.
Standard has conducted research and development, production and application experiments on coil powder coatings with universities, equipment manufacturers, and Italian complete solution technology suppliers, and has achieved great results. Now Standard has maturely solved both of them. Through cooperation with leading equipment manufacturers and exclusive powder coating design formulas, Standard’s coil powder coatings can partially replace traditional liquid coil coatings.
